That was probably the chap who drove across all 48 States, the only real issue he had was the fuel pump failure luckily not far from Bill's establishment. Bill put in a new pump and that failed after a short time so he was towed back to Bill's and another pump put in which lasted the rest of the adventure.

I agree with Planenut much easier and less stressful to do the job at home in the garage than on the roadside especially if its raining.
