Got it off, and MMC was liberal with whatever cement they used. Note it is mostly on the shaft and not the threads.



They also applied it to the crank pinion as well.




I used multiple tools to wedge it off and it only moved after applying heat to the crank gear,

Now to figure out the thing that was left on the pinion. Some sort of washer, which I just removed. Now to get the seal out!
