I spoke to Emil at Morgancustoms and he ended up putting a fuel regulator, high flow filter and new fuel hoses on his Morgan so I think I am going to go visit him and do the same. Emil was rebuilding his motor over the winter and opted to fix this as well. Hard to believe that the filter for Morgan serves as the fuel regulator and there is no filter before the injectors.
Seems like a more elegant solution to have a fuel regulator and a filter before the injectors and should help the engine run better longer term. I will keep you all posted how this all works. Shame I just bought a new filter the other day.
Any idea what the ideal operating pressure is for the installed injectors?
