Yes, my 2011 +4 is similar but not quite so deep an impression as Rog. My initial thought was to see if the brackets on the metal pipe section could be adjusted, as they have a slotted base. But, mine were already back as far as they could go, with the bracket up against the edge of the cam cover. Interestingly, someone (servicing technician from the past?) has repositioned them in the past as there was a clear witness mark of where the washer position used to be, which would have made it an even tighter fit.
Rather than go cutting bits off the flexible pipe, it’s worth investigating as to whether a “set” put in the brackets would be sufficient!
The problem though is that however it is achieved, on mine, there is only about a tenth of an inch before the pipe assembly will foul the corner of the airbox! So check carefully before reaching for the scalpel, Rog.
For now, I have squeezed a bit of neoprene in to ease the sharp edges.
With a bit of thought at the production stage, this could easily have been avoided.
