I always found it very helpful to hear the recommendations and advice of the experts here. I have the impression that they are trying to avoid self-praise and the forced promotion of their products and services as much as they can. Also, most members of TM always emphasize that they are not related to an expert or benefit from it if they are very satisfied with something. Maybe it was me who was so enthusiastic when describing the new shock absorbers in this thread because I was so lucky with the random fitting length and I forgot to make the announcement not to be involved with the supplier, and they are really good. Again, you can ask any supplier if they can offer such a product.

We are grown up people who see who says something and why. And as it runs on TM, I always found it an enrichment when experts who are also commercially positioned have their say. For example, when someone designs springs and suspensions, it is logical that he describes what he does and how it works. If it is connected with very useful tips, why not.
