Before we all rejoice too much, i suspect there are going to be challenging times ahead for Nissan as a result of the deal we have.

All the Japanese car makers rely upon a "just in time" delivery from their suppliers, they keep incredibly low stocks of components at Sunderland. Any shipment at the docks that is delayed due to "paperwork" will impact them quickly and severely. I hope for their sakes that once everybody learns the new systems and procedures quickly and that the delays are minimal so they can continue to operate using their current business model. If not I fear a very bumpy ride until it settles down.
