"Fabrication"? I Can't recall anyone claiming "fabrication". The word I used was conjecture:

"A conjecture is a proposition that is unproven but is thought to be true and has not been disproven."

And because someone has stated something on a website is proof? If it exists already why post a picture of a Morgan Roadster and not the 'Malvern Roadster'?

Simon has already posted that MMC have stated there is a feasibility study being carried out. I would guess that this is therefore a marketing exercise to gauge interest.

Oh and you asked for comments. Sorry if it was not what you wanted to read or didn't agree with. We can have different opinions smile

He has not received his cars yet, so a picture of a trad roadster was used.

A secret "marketing exercise to gauge interest", are you kidding!

You of course a free to believe anything the factory tells you and wants you to report in this forum.

The facts as I know them are that Morgan is in negotioations to ship partially assembled roadster to the US. The engines and transmissions will be installed here and the suggested name (as noted on the Northshore Morgan dealers site) is projected to be the Malvern Roadster.

The naming is to distance the car from Morgan.

You are free to dissect my statements any way you choose or to blow as much smoke to cloud the issue as you would like.

I have no stake in this issue, I have owned my Morgan for over 26 years, have been a fan of the marque for over 40 years. I have no concern over market value of my Morgan as I will never sell mine.

Time and disclosure of the facts will prove one of us correct.

Where have I (or anyone else) said anything about a SECRET marketing excercise?

Your attempts twice to misquote me doesn't become you, nor do your cheap "factory" jibes!

We are not actually in significant disagreement ("In negotiation" vs "Feasibility study") so why you are being so ignorant of that fact or argumentative I have no idea banghead

I hope you keep, and enjoy, your Morgan forever. That is exactly the reason why more cars should be brought into the States, to allow others to enjoy them, and to allow your dealer to earn a living.

Cheers
