oh, there's plenty of services that you can ship to in the USA, and they'll forward them to the UK - likely to charge full import tax & duties though.

I've used MyUS.com - until they opened a 40 year old art book's seal and then tried to charge me 20% vat (it's 5% on art, mostly 0% on books) but they'd destroyed the value of the book by breaking the seal... Not a problem you'd have with tyres!
