My Gilbern Invader (Zodiac V6) developed a pinhole in the oil pick up pipe in the sump. It took ages to track this down, but the symptoms were a slow build up of pressure from a start, and low running pressure. When I finally fixed that it was transformed. There was quite a bit of crud around the filter pick up as well.
