It seems like the newer Plus Four and Plus Six models, while "improved", have seem to go up significantly in price. I expect that whatever guise the next M3W takes, may also involve a significant bump in price. While improving the cars, I think they may be pricing it out of reach of some of their target market. For the M3W, I do agree with some of the speculation here, but think Morgan might even try both an IC and EV variant to ensure it will work in multiple markets. So whereas they may lose some of the low end luxery market buyers, they won't lose some of those countries due to environmental regulations. Thus they would be working on retaining the model over a longer model life span.
I've heard that Morgan is looking to expand their sales representation into other high end dealerships, which would indicate they wish to make the higher price less of an issue, whilst increasing their market exposure to buyers who might not have otherwise heard of Morgan. I know they now have an investment group looking to ensure that they turn a profit, it will be interesting to see where some of these new directions take the company.
