Thank you all for the input and suggestions. To avoid doing a reply to each one, I'll summarise below.
1. As the fluid is dripping onto the side of the inside wall of the tyre and creeping down to the floor, there isn't any underseal in that area to point to this but will triple check.
2. I shall double check the grease used on the king pins and for any excess in case I missed something. I've always used the red stuff which I liked as I could then be 100% certain on what I'm looking at. I'll give it a good wipe down and check again.
3. I don't have the one shot system
4. The car is a modern 1.6 Ford Sigma
5. I've not personally oiled any of the seams but a good shout. I'll look around the body seams and see if anything can be seen.
6. Wheel bearings - no idea if they did this. Let's just say the service visit wasn't a pleasant one and I left without getting much info or wanting to stick around.
It just occurred to me that I could put a small washer on the end of a string, hold it up inside the wheel wheel and line it up with where the drip is happening this might give me a better clue on where it might be coming from.
