Peter, yes I understand the importance of showcasing the technology but it was the somewhat small part that the battery played in this car that really made me comment on it.
I suppose it is a lot to do with selling the emotion of one of the last V8's as well combined with the greater profits they command.
I don't imagine the all battery cars commanding similar emotions or prices, I could well be wrong.
Like you I doubt the necessity of the stratospheric acceleration of these cars also, but if they market them and you enjoy them then why not.
The thread car will be an absolute nightmare when it hits the secondhand market with it's inherent complex electronics and multi input sensors.
