@ Richard: glad to hear your assessment on the filter position, I was a little worried after the first test drive when I opened up the hood and the usual heat struck me - but during driving, I did not encounter any issues or decrease of torque. And the coolest thing is: you can hear the hissing from the air being sucked in
@ Pheasant: to replace the factory filter, you need the K&N E-2993. But this one needed to be a little smaller to fit under the bonnet; it is the K&N RU-1460.
