I'm doing a much less radical redesign than above, but here it is anyway......

The first image shows how I added a carbon fibre trim panel at the bottom and a pair of neoprene side panels to channel more air through the original radiator. The original air intake is at the top.

Next the SiFab radiator, which is slightly higher so the original pipe would need to be flattened to get through the gap between header tank and cowl.

Instead I've used a short curved length of silicone hose, which sort of snorkels over the top of the header tank. I decided to blank off the space at the top to encourage more air into the intake. This is a simple inverted U shape made from aluminium, onto which is fastened a stainless steel blanking plate, edged in neoprene. It locks in place when assembled, and is a loose fit over the radiator, with no metal to metal contact.

The final pic is a reminder of the insulation I added to the intake pipe, and the deflector plate above the exhaust manifold, to reduce radiated heat.
