What's wrong with the BMW Z4? after all its only a Morgan Plus 6 with a more modern looking coat on.
Theres the Audi TT roadster, its the only other 2 seat open top car that I can think of that some might call a sportscar.
By your rules a 911 shouldn't count as its got 4 seats.
The 911 is really a 2 seater - you ever tried to sit in the back of one? As for the Z4, TT and Merc - to me they are the modern equivalent of the Capri.
