I reckon it costs me at least £3 per mile to run it - the annual service this year admittedly with extras like belt change, cost £3k. and depreciation is mileage based at £1 per mile. And that is for an analogue 2003 car rather than the all singing and dancing 800bhp current models. But it does bring a smile to my face when I drive it and the owners club are a very sociable and likeable bunch. Would I swap it for a Porker? Tested them many times and you cant help but be impressed by the teutonic efficiency. But they arent "special" in the way that both Ferrari and Morgan are.
