A lot of similar QA issues existed in the Aero. It went through several versions of improvement. As everything moving forwards is on the CX they have an incentive to get it right as it is the only option. There is a lot more complexity in the Plus, the old angle iron V8 and gen 3 electrics in the Aero are somewhat easier. Interesting times.
As for the price - we saw the same thing back then, the Coupe was up for £114k retail. We have been here before.
