Moving to the Plus Four.....
Had mine in July and now on 5500 miles, replacing the 2002 Plus 8.
A step up definitely. Only thing missing is the V8 sound. Had an oil change done whilst in for the 1000 mile check.
Due to the coolant/rad issues I have been keeping a close watch but no coolant issues.
Two problems sorted by the dealer.
Handbrake not brilliant but better now.
PCB for the gauges failed. The gauges went dead but the small screen was on so had speed and warnings. No speedo, rev counter, temp or fuel gauges. New PCB fitted and ok so far. One bonus is that the clock now lights up! It didn’t before. It’s not very bright but some light.
One job left, to reduce draughts from the door/side screen rear. I have seals left over from doing similar on the Plus 8.
Driven mostly in auto mode but Sport/S+and paddles being used as well.
On a trip to Scotland I got 50+mpg on several days, using the 250miles rule for filling up. Apparently there is 70 miles left when the low fuel light comes on but not tested.
I miss a dipstick though. Easier than the built in screen/software based method.
Not SORN as I’ll use the car when possible as with previous Morgans.
I like the car. Comfort, drivability, performance are great.
