The CX cars are at an entirely different price point when compared with the trad, with greater emphasis on 'hand build bespoke craftmanship'......with that comes a greater expectation (rightly or wrongly) of the inherent quality of the finished product and support infrastructure. Fortunately most CX are the 2nd or 3rd car in a household and for many not the daily driver, where the need for reliability and keeping the car on the road is far more critical.

I hope to have a CX at some point in the future, but I'm still waiting for that 'step' change to arrive, I maybe waiting a while yet. For me, I'd rather they invest in quality parts and demanding build inspections before the cars leave the factory with the dealer network acting as a final backstop during PDI inspections. so those annoying avoidable faults and quality issues are resolved before delivery rather than in warranty claim spend creating inconvenience for their customers.
