Who knows what goes on in the Marketing offices at Car companies sometimes so I guess we'll have to wait and see. But, my interest in Morgan really began with the 4/4 Sport based on the dechromed looks and basic no-nonsense colour palette and the slightly more affordable price. Without it I wouldn't be interested in/couldn't afford to consider owning one. For me as a member of the Elise/Caterham generation (owned both) I know the dynamics of the Sports are not competitive but the aesthetics make up for it.
Perhaps the Three wheeler is going to play part of Morgan entry point in future but only for those considerably smaller than me and who really want a "toy" to play with as a motorbike alternative. I guess we'll see if the creep up-market for Morgan will become a march as margins get squeezed and aren't made up for by extra demand for the Sports.
