Always going to be a problem for Morgan .... niche market and selling cars that a succession of owners will be happy to subject to serial restos and will be about cluttering the market for half a century or more. Fine when you're making a small number of simple cars that have their development costs largely amortised a generation ago ...... development costs of integrating complex systems into the latest models will be ongoing as the legislative landscape develops and tech follows it.

Not a problem for the bland-mobile makers ... fashion and built-in obselescence constantly removes their old cars off to the scrapyard leaving the field clear for their new sales..... much harder for Morgan to drive an agressively expansionist sales model

Ps ... whatever, my crossflow will sustain its place in my heart whatever the market, as I have it for reasons other than 'residuals' .... same goes for my house, Landy, guitars ... and the Mrs 🙂 .... makes for a calm(ish) life
