The front tyres on the new car are exactly the same as I run on my 1930 model. And are fine with my 42 bhp, although I would question them with the power and weight of the new car. I have however heard good reports on the Blockley tyres available in the same size , but I think from an aesthetic point of view, the new car would not look right with them.
19" though is pretty much the historic motor-bike tyre size so there is reasonable choice in that size if you don't want to go too fast.
I did say, what I'd read 'suggested' Morgans had detuned the engine, but if the dealer's car was still in the first 20 hours of life, a lower rev limit could be an explanation. I'm sure the writer will get to the bottom of this shortly as his car is about two weeks from delivery.
