obviously all of this is hypothetically assuming that the belt drive wont be able to sustain extra power, which we have no way of really knowing yet.
Except, we know pretty well that the first belt type was too narrow, otherwise they wouldn't have gone with a slimmer rear tyre and wider belt. The only reason for that would be strength, as far as I can tell. It certainly can't be looks (like on some HDs with extremely wide belts).
