Takes me back to riding Japanese bikes from the 70s which were fitted with stainless steel discs so they didn’t rust. Looked really good but didn’t work at all in the wet unless you applied the brakes regularly to dry them off. Terrifying the first time I experienced this feature. Still dry off the brakes in the Morgan, lightly apply the brakes every so often, and although not convinced it really makes any difference it’s a habit.
Strangely enough it doesn’t even occur to me to do this when driving a ‘modern’ car.
