John, as I suspect you well know, I have only base level understanding of economics or much else...(-: however I am not shy when it comes to sharing my thinking, flawed or otherwise, and feel most fortunate to not be relying on the imagined market value of my Morgan as any part of my future financial planning as things currently stand, but then given the mix of both my age and the country`s indebtedness, which I blame on politicians of all colours, I suspect if I was looking to make a purely financial investment in a bid to try and secure some aspect of my future well being.... I rather doubt that my first choice might be to invest in a Classic or specialist car, but if for whatever reason it had to be a car... then it would likely be an air cooled 911, given the young seem to more attracted to them than most cars of the era, thus suggesting to me, the air cooled Porsche market might maintain momentum a while longer than most...?
