Whilst the direction of Morgan may leave some of the more traditional base customers in either denial or disgust at their increasing upmarket marketing and pricing direction and increasingly more sophisticated products being launched, I'm all for it.
There are enough trads. built to keep the more traditional customers happy, although prices in general are very depressed, so maybe the demand is waning or just reflecting the general market malaise............time will tell.
I'm enjoying the fruits of Morgans advancement and more sophisticated mechanicals eg automatics., it's kept me in the brand for much longer. I see limited slip diff is now an option for the PLUS FOUR.......great a car that should handle and really deliver.the driving experience.
If the upmarket releases generate massively increased profits per unit to help subsidise the bread and butter models, then bring it on.
I Just feel very lucky and privileged to have owned a few of their cars over the years, they have created some great memories and are often the centre of attention wherever I go.
Thank goodness Morgan is still around producing exciting, distinctive and evocative BRITISH hand built cars to enjoy..
