Nobody does, but there is always a market for people who want to have the ultimate bragging rights down at the golf club. I'm sure that these things will sell well and none of them will ever be taken anywhere near their limits. With the improved suspension and drivetrain, hopefully we'll see fewer prangs like we seemed to get with the Plus Six.

It shouldn't be too difficult to make a sensational improvement. Then they would have a true sports grand tourer (if you have a rear rack!).

Makes perfect sense to me.

For me the main thing is that the MMC still exists and employs a lot of skilled folk, as for competing with Porsche or Mercedes in the 60`s to early 80`s terms of build quality as an ideal today, I guess I can understand that the evolution in people`s motoring ideals, has moved on from a time when I spent a decade or so enjoying a series of air cooled Porsches prior to thinking I might enjoy a more vintage driving experience, and found myself in a mid 80`s +8, initially purchased to enjoy the local ish A&B roads hereabouts, However my good lady had alternative holiday plans and decided that a few tours of Europe in the Morgan seemed to provide a sense of adventure, that perhaps doing so in the comfort of a modern vehicle might take the edge off the experience...(-:

As ever, each to their own, and I wish all at the MMC all the very best with their Supersport 400. oldgit thumbs
