It's natural for the Porsche etc. comparisons to come with the rarified price point of these Supersports..
I bought my +6 because it's always been an ambition to own one, proudly put together in Britain and looking amazing. In fact, I've found everything is very well put together so far, better than I was expecting. I'm even happy with the suspension, ride and handling. But it is badly let down by the wind noise, drafts (especially back into the cabin from behind) and the (albeit minor) rain leaks. And that's after much improvement by my own DIY, with seals from Woolies and careful adjustment of the sidescreens in my vice and with a mallet and a block of softwood. Previously I could see daylight past the doors and sidescreens, which is a bit poor. Even now, the single skin roof isn't an ideal fit around the top and back of the sidescreens.
Apologies for taking us off at a tangent, but I was struck by how the factory's effort seems to have a focus on unnecessary performance gains, rather than this final aspect of quality and usability. At this price point I think they could design and build a far better solution, even with the lovely sidescreens, if they put their mind to it. That's where I would encourage them to focus their attention. Then they would have a world beater.
