Thank you for the replies.. the suggestions are not like the actual clip, its a very simple plastic block that the handles rods slot into and clip in position.
I will make two myself on my mill..
What annoys me the most is that I worked in an industry where we kept comprehensive stock of parts onboard at sea, we had to be able to fix/replace things at sea and/or make things.Certainly critical parts and known areas thought likely to fail.
A plastic clip costs almost nothing, so why not stock it, more so as its a known failure point.
This little issue has seriously stopped me from purchasing another Morgan product, we were thinking abou a supersport ( even though I don't like the front and back ) but to be honest the present mindset of Morgan toward spares completely puts me off.. This may sound totally cranky.. but so am I.
Recently I have run into several areas where it was impossible to buy parts in this country (UK), I have had to source carbon fibre block from Germany as not available in the UK and I even had to buy a Canadian bastard ( file type ) hand file as I could not source a quality UK made item... it makes me so fed up with the UK.. rant over....
