In South Africa vehicles only have to be inspected whenever they change ownership and go through a rather flimsy "Roadworthy" certificate. Explains why so many wheels drop off really ancient cars and there are so many bad accidents....

Great diagram Charles, but on my 2012 its a bit random. I would however love to get my hands on a true (readable) wiring diagram?

My two speeder has their headlights, and it is a quite common modification to enable the use of modern bulbs in an old car.

I doubt there is a single wiring diagram in the public domain.
My understanding is that there are broadly three electrical systems.
1)The s&s VFI wiring harness which is in the x wedge manuals. This concerns engine management including emissions.
2) the morgan system for the instrument binnacle, fuel pump etc.
3) the cycle electric alternator and rectifier for charging the battery.

I dont know if the speedo, indicator and urban coolong kit are run from an ecu in the instrument binnacle or are part of the s&s vfi ecu

You wouldn't believe how thin the wiring going to the lights is.
I wouldn't use it for signal cabling!!!,

The urban cooling fan must take an input from the ECU as I understand it the fan kicks in below 10mph and if you are below 10mph the indicators stay on. Therefore both are speed sensitive and I would assume use the same ECU output.

By the way does anyone know what the black plastic box full of relays is for stuffed under the fuse box/ECU?

So that's the MOT Passed but with wheel Bearing advisories - but then again maybe there's supposed to be some play came the explanation -

Had to tighten the headlights too.

As for the knock on two ear spinners - from Morgan " it's down to the MOT testers discression" - Mmmmmm food for thought for another year anyway

My M3W has just pasted her first MoT. I live over 100 miles from the nearest Morgan Agent so had to look for a more convenient provider. No problem, just go where the motor cyclist go; 16 miles.

My M3W has just passed its MOT, no advisories or issues with two-eared spinners or anything else. The MOT station are however used to Morgan's and thus are used to their foibles!
