There is a common problem with the PCB that handles the dash electronics.
Seems that if you get water ingress then this can cause shorts on the PCB tracks that leaves the fog light permanently on.
The switches and relays are of good quality, but the PCB is not.
The PCB is manufactured by Zonefollow who I believe are no longer in business and when I tried to get a circuit diagram from Morgan they said they did not have one.
A replacement PCB is in the region of £600 but Morgan do not appear to have any stock.
If you do sort out the problem would be interested to know what the fault was. The 4/4 of the original poster is still a current model....well it was until a couple of weeks ago. The PCB for that model is obviously still being manufactured. One for 3.0 Riadsters is another matter which is why my car has it covered in a plastic sheet 🙄. I’ve had too many underdash leaks....now hopefully sorted.....and washer hoses pop off.

Anyone know the best way to gain enough access to the pcb to inspect/ remove it?

Take the dash off unplug all the cables, remove plastic splash guard/cover unscrew switch backs on pcb to release pcb from switches, don't forget to remove ribbon that goes to lamp panel. Pcb is double sided.

With all the wisdom and experience exchanged in this dialogue I am now curious to know why, in respect of the original posting, a main dealer couldn't help? After all, it seems to be a relatively common problem. Don't want to start a drift onto a different topic though.

Unfortunately the older model but as I had a pic thought it might be of interest to somebody. As said I got away without repairing mine but I suspect the offending relay might be the Axicom IM 06 next to the switch. PS –I believe that chip ‘enhancement’ is original

If your dash is the same as my Roadster I have pictures of both sides if you need them, but if it's a failed diode you may not even see the failure.

About 2 years ago my 2002 Plus8 had a similar issue. The rear fogs were intermittent often sending flashing signals to the car behind! I worked through the circuit checking bulb, holder, fuses, wires, switch etc. I narrowed it down to the control module behind the dash. A small black box. I prised it open and the pub was loose, rattling round. I re glued it and the problem seemed cured. Not for long! It came back. I tried Uncle Melvyn (February). Not in stock and factory order. GRRR. MOT was due in November. Over the summer no progress in getting a replacement. Factory stock was for pre 1997 models and apparently not interchangeable. No news of any being ordered in. So....choices were Source one from Carbuildersolutions and sort out the wiring. Replace with manual (might have been a MOT issue re cancelling) Check the module. I checked the module under a magnifier and saw two solder joints that looked iffy. I resoldered them and yippee! Problem solved and not returned. Oh the joys of Morgan ownership! Mind you solving it is a good feeling.
