Thats interesting John, I didnt realise they worked individually. did you buy just one anti tramp bar, and what is the thinking behind fitting just one on the drivers side? Is it like prop walk in the marine environment? Intrigued 🤔

The 3 l cars had one, the 3.7 l I think 2. I asked at the time and that was the advice from Allon White who fitted it. The battery gets in the way on the passenger side.
It seems to work well.

The S1 Roadster didn't get the anti tramp as standard, although the board was cut out ready on that side.

Fitted mine last week. Immediately on bumpy roads the steering was a lot calmer, but did feel a portion of that energy was transmitted into chassis instead , which you could feel. Overall an improvement though and only took an hour to fit.

t the whole front of the car calmed down, in a way difficult to describe. It felt more stable, not moving around that much both horizontally and vertically (which I can't explain, but anyway - less "nodding dog"). It felt slightly closer to driving an ordinary car - in a good way. I admit that there might be a bit of placebo in this, and the changes were quite subtle. The only way I can explain this is that the BRS stiffens the whole front of the car, reducing the inherent flexing. And not only during braking, but most of the time, as I suspect there are constant micro-movements. Something that is needed? No, the earth did not move beneath my feet? Something I would recommend? Yes, for sure. A relativly small improvement, but cheap and easy to do. Next is the Panhard rod, lying on the garage floor ready to go in... Fitted my SiFab Brake Reaction Bars today and agree with Robbie above. The name Brake Reaction Bars is misleading as there is a big difference in the whole front end over bumpy roads and chassis flex in cornering with better steering feel in the corners. I found myself driving much faster over bumpy roads because the suspension now doesn't 'crash' over bad bumps. I would say Brake Reaction Bars are probably the first modification you should do to a Morgan and I wish Id fitted them 18 months ago. Morgan should fit them as standard.

I had brake reaction bars fitted about 1 month ago. The steering felt more direct after fitting particularly over bumps

Maybe I should refit mine and try again. I took them off as I didn't feel they made much difference to the narrow tyred 4/4.
I felt the Panhard rod did make a difference.

What a difference a change makes.. just recently fitted the Panhard rod to my 03+8, to complement the BRB/S, and also replaced the 17 yr old Sachs super touring rear dampers with Spax adjustable shocks (fronts were upgraded previously with the kingpins) ;I now feel confidently attached to the road at all times. Approval stamped by SWMBO "much better now its less bouncy" ………

Thanks also for the fitting advise. I did grind a bit off the oiler bolt end of the bars to clear the wing stays but they were easier to fit than I thought.
I used a jack under the kingpin as you suggested and had no problem with the oiler bolt.
Matty at Lifes is fitting my Panhard Rod next week so I will report back on here!
