I have had the vibrating wing mirror issue and found that the end of the thread on the mirror was just touching the body of the car, I cut a couple of mm off the thread and this made a big difference on my car, but I know the tolerances are not the same on M3Ws.

What type of mirrors did you use. I have had a look at their website, are they worth $95 each?

I used the eBay Lucas mirrors and the glass was not great. Bought the hagan convex mirror inserts $30 a piece and they have great glass. I also added a small hagan convex rear view mirror and it is awesome as well. Not cheap but money well spent.

I don't have the side mirrors fitted on mine any more.

I have one of these fixed to right hand side of the passenger screen instead.

Very small and light but very effective and cheap!

I went with option 2 and fitted them this morning. Fitting them is no easy task I can tell you. Need to be an octopus with tiny hands. Anyway got it done and they look great but I can see the problem with your arm getting in the way. There appears to be little or no vibration but the true test will be in the driving. I'll have to report back in a week or two.

I see Melvyn is stocking the Super 3 side mirror - anyone tried it on a M3W? The kink in the mirror arm might mean the mirror is very high, or very low!

Long stem mirrors on the M3W are very prone to vibration.
