Yes I did Graham, but it’s all information that someone will find useful for the Traditional chassis😊

HB will be getting his Plus Four soon and he’ll have the answers 😊👍

The official workshop manual for my Fezza gives standard recharging intervals depending on battery drain whilst standing, The middle range is 60mA drain and standing for 15 days and this is with a car that by modern standards is pretty light on electronics but has a decent sized battery.

Should I be dumping my CTEK for something better ?

Regarding chargers/conditioners; I’ve always used an Optimate.
I plug it in weekly during the Winter, just to top my Odyssey PC925 battery back to full charge,

I’ve never used a C Tek, so can’t comment on its efficiency.

No as long as you don't leave it permanently on charge it is adequate.

The lower part of my plus four is the exhaust ,the bottom of the car is flat and the car is higher than the trad.

Since i have the car i try to run one time per week and the battery is nice. But the garage told me it could be discharged in two weeks. The battery is now easy to acces just next the fuse box in the engine bay.

I have a CTEK that has been connected to our 4/4 for the last 7 years when the car is in the garage and I haven’t had a problem. Is there something I should be aware of?

My CTek is plugged into my Plus4 GDi most of the time and has been for the part five years with no issues.
