I used to run a motorcycle shop and my wife and I have heated waistcoats that plug into the accessory socket, keep you at 50 degrees c and draw only 2.2 amps at 12 volts , so about 26 watts. Very effective on trial at home. Sadly new M3W broke down (alternator packed up ), before we got cold on our first 550 mile journey from Aberdeen where I bought VM08GAN back to Toddington Bedfordshire.
