If you're the type to let that kind of thing bother you, then you might find there are other cars out there that suit your temperament better.

The bonnet fits on my 4/4 are fine (by me). The gap along the wing being even and just big enough not to trap my fingers.
It came as a shock when closing the bonnet on a 4/4 Sport and finding it did trap my fingers!
