So after reading that there was a hole in the steering rack, I went down to the garage and looked.... There is a hole in my steering rack, about 3/16ths of an inch in diameter, nothing in it, just a hole. More interestingly, on the forward edge of the slot cut in the compensator housing for the steering rack, is a half round cut out that looks looks like it would accommodate a grease gun. There is no hole on the bottom side.
