When the right one arrives you are taken by storm and your life is meaningless in isolation - only the times that you are together do you feel alive. You would willingly lay down your life for her and she must be your best friend - if these criteria are met there will be no stopping the never ending fire of romance whatever the age difference it is largely irrelevant, listen to your heart not anyone else's advice.. My late Father stated that it wouldn't last - his first one lasted just 3 years so he was clearly an expert ! This wife ran out on the family when I was 18 months old. It was a just post war marriage so I expect it happened a lot, he was obviously better at flying Spitfires than choosing spouses.
Coming from an old fart who has been married 42 years and with the same woman for 45 years, and never had the slightest interest in grazing on pastures new.
p.s. Sometimes she is 2 years younger than me and at others she is 1 year younger... happens annually ...
