I would like to do the same job on my 3W but i changed my rear mirror and, i guess, the new one can touch this new shape of windshield...

I had a rear view mirror with the original screens, so had to remove it and fill the mirror mounting holes with some polished stainless steel plugs when I fitted the Fairbourne screen. They don't look too out of place really. I fitted a rear view mirror to the centre screen support. It doesn't vibrate much in that position. It's the only mirror I can see anything in most of the time as the other two are just a blur.
