Nice job on the windscreen trim! Being a do-it-yourselfer cheap sob I am considering fabricating my own windscreen similar to the Fairbourne. However, I would simply cut the old windscreen about 1" above the bonnet and screw the new plastic on, and use alloy trim strips inside and out. Would also fabricate the center brace from alloy, and some small end braces similar to what an MGA has on the windscreen. Anyone else thinking along these lines?
