I am in the process of doing the 1,000 mile service. BB has been reasonable insofar as noise, but I am comparing with my FJ 40 Landcruiser, which really howls from the transfer case.
I will employ a setup I use when servicing the brakes on my Pitts Special. Glass syringe and three-way stopcock makes for a clean approach from below, once the machine is lifted on ramps and the rear wheel is supported on a wooden block.
330cc's are easy to measure, and I think best to use the fill plug directly above the lower drain plug in the rear of the unit. Side orange plug is a vent.
