I have been a member of MSCC since 1968, and I am seriously considering not renewing this year.
The whole ethos of the club's committee seems to be driving us down a business driven model. The strategic review synopsis that I have seen appears to drive the club further down this road
A club like ours should be run for the benefit of its members, not for profit (although I accept that events have to target a profit)
+1. It reads like a board briefing paper to me. But as someone who doesn't put any effort into running the club I guess I respect that at least people are making efforts here.
