I don't know much about the MSCC, but how would any losses be funded? With difficulty I suspect, so therefore it is is a business (of sorts) and needs to be profitable.
What is the purpose of the MSCC? To be run for the benefit of the members? It sounds as if the membership is too diverse for the MSCC to actually succeed at this.
I haven't read the review yet as I've not received the magazine.
