Many thanks all for the very useful replies on the axle stand use and the spinners. I am on a firm concrete floor in a double garage so lots of room to work and level.

Im not planning on doing any work under the car, just sending the wheels off for powder coating so its going to sit quietly for a few weeks.

Noted about jacking the rear first as well.

I think on balance I will go for another set of stands rather than my double sleeper but probably place the sleepers under just in case once its up. The spinner tools looks good but I may have a crack with the leather mallet first etc. Thanks again everyone.
