Yes, backing off the pro-load is something we'll try but the 750LBS spring is too stiff too.
I did find this, regarding angle. So at the 45 degrees or so a spring of 750lbs would be about the same as a vertical spring of 530lbs
I can't speak to the Morgan obviously but this definitely does seem excessive to me. In dealing with honda civics, which I am more familiar with some of the spring rates for coil overs for just street use are 550-700lb/in up front and a civic is practically portly in comparison. So taking into account the extra work the spring has to do for an angle, 750 definitely does seem excessive to me as well, but like I said, I'm just armchair engineering here. [img]http://[/img]
