KML or GPX is the file you can enter in Google maps or your Sat Nav (even in your mobile) , so any one have this file can follow your path or modify it based on is own needing.
i understand it's maybe like i speak Greek to a Swedish, but if you use or want to use a Sat Nav this is the way to go
