Fitted four Michelin Pilot Super Sport 4S. I can now accelerate in a straight line and go round corners normally

Seriously Peter, what did you have fitted before and how worn/old where they when you changed them?
I'm starting to get some interesting back end effects when pulling out of side turnings onto a main road and accelerating briskly. I suspect lack of straight line control follows. But I don't want to replace the tyres this year... a bit skint.
I had Continentals on from new, which have been very good. But the offside rear had worn down to pretty much nothing left after 11k. Presumably down to LSD and a little bit of a heavy right foot.
The pulling to the left at low speeds when turning was all controllable but I'd had a few clenching moments changing up to third in a straight line, especially in the damp and pretty much forget about accelerating in the wet. Been sideways several times when its damp, changing down from third to second. Mines a manual so not sure if the auto's like yours have the same effect of extreme engine braking ?
The Continentals on the fronts were ok and had plenty of life left in them but I'd read some very good reviews on the Michelins PSS4S and decided to change all four. I must say after today's little drive even the front end feels better. Tyres pressures all at 22psi from cold.
I'm certainly going to swap the back tyres around every 2k from now on though to get more life out of a set.
