It's an accepted "norm" that ALL trads of a certain era have off centre rear wheels.
I'm sure there was an explanation of this many moons ago - something was altered (possibly the rear axle location??) and Morgan didn't deem it worthwhile to re-align the body accordingly.
The Aero cars are more of a mystery .....
