A completely different take on this:

2012 October build M3W

3 rear sprockets, now Super Max
H-D rectifier @700miles
Bump steer fixed @ 17,000 miles (damn near killed me!)
Cam belt failure @ 19,000 miles
Compensator failure @22,000 miles
Exhaust fell off long time ago
Cracked chassis @ 39,000 miles (still at shop awaiting new chassis)
six sets of front tires and 3 rear tires

What can I say? I drive this thing hard. I have never felt that it was a daily driver or a normal reliable car. It is a hand built exotic barely street legal race car. If I am lucky it will be fixed before the snow flies here. If I am not then there will be Spring next year.

I have had quibbles with Morgan about some recall worthy items.

I'd do it again. I've had a great deal of fun with this beast. Breaking things seems to be the price one has to pay for the privilege of owning and driving it. My Toyota Tundra, which I keep for its ability to haul a trailer with a sick Morgan, is utterly reliable and boring...

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.
