Well, what can I say. I'm tired of being a sucker for MMC.
My car has been terribly unreliable and Morgan's customers service has been evasive and unresponsive.
I'm a driver. I like to drive. This car doesn't get it done. I can't count on it to get me there and back.
I've paid a premium price but Morgan's customer service is definitely in the discount category.
I could deal with bad quality OR bad customer service but both together is deal killer for me.
I'll never buy another Morgan in my life.
Here's a short history of my car and all the repairs. Much paid from my own pocket. Who knew so much could go wrong in just 16000km?!
Engine failed at 2300 km (7 weeks repair time)
Throttle cable broke at 8400km (1 week repair time)
Rear wiring harness failed at 11000km
Rear sprocket needed replaced at 13000km
Rectifier failed at 13200km
Exhaust falls off 14800km (1 week repair time)
Cam belt tensioners/rollers/belt fail 15200km (6 weeks repair time)
Belt drive needs replaced at 16000km
Compensator failure at 16000km
There's so many other cars out there that are a blast to drive but not such a nightmare to own.
